Painter, mural painter and art educator, New York, N.Y. Born in Cleveland, Ohio. Dean of Art Students League in New York. Received Cross of Malta for murals of the life of St. Anthony of Padua in Venice, Italy, the first person to be awarded this honor in 400 years and the first American to receive this honor.
